Android How to find what apps are causing pop up spam or notification on phone Google Play

Quick informational video of how to find out which apps are giving you the little pop up notifications in your notification panel on your android device. Normally you will see a little star at the very top which indicates that a app has sent that notification, ad or alert.

Normally all you have to do is press and hold on the advertisement and then press APP INFO and then you can decide if you wish to delete the app that is giving you pop up advertisements.

Please keep in mind that most likely when you downloaded that app in the terms and conditions it told you that you are agreeing to these pop up ads so I only used a example of one app and I did read the T&C and it did state that I am agreeing to the terms and conditions. So normally if you do not agree to the terms and conditions then you can uninstall the app since that is the only way to decline the T&C. Any app names in this video were for informational purposes only.

This is a easy way to find which apps are causing the pop ups instead of deleting all of your downloaded apps. I have seen people with phones that had up to 10 apps that were giving them pop ups and were wondering why they hate their phone.

Hope you find this useful and I hope that this will fix your Spam notification or pop up ads issues. This can be applied to any android phone that is Android 4.0 and higher. I have done this on the Motorola Droid Maxx, Turbo, Samsung Galaxy S3, S4, S5 Note 2, Note 3, Note 4. Some other phones that I tried are the LG G2, G3 and HTC One.
