AT&T has launched a new feature aimed at stopping spam, scams, sand fraud from reaching your phone.
Free to customers with AT&T HD Voice, the new Call Protect feature is a network-based filter that can flag calls suspected of fraud.
In some cases, the feature will block suspicious numbers.
But AT&T the feature may also filter out calls that are wanted, which is why the added a switch to turn the feature on or off; there is also a filter list for users to input designated numbers.
